~ an artist collective ~

Where pencils
meet people,
and paper meets place.

We're a non-profit collective of artists making space for figure drawing, public art-making, and joyful collaboration — in studios, parks, and farmers markets.

who we are

A studio without walls.

People Do Art began with a simple idea: the more people who pick up a pencil, the better the world gets. We're a non-profit run by working artists who believe drawing belongs to everyone.

From quiet figure drawing sessions to spontaneous public happenings, we make space for practice, mess, and play. No experience needed. Just curiosity.

Our work is supported by member dues, donations, and the occasional excellent grant.
